Remote Legal Counsel - Contract Specialist

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Legal Counsel with a specialization in contracts to join their fully remote legal department. • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a high volume of complex commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership deals, and service contracts.

• Develop and maintain standardized contract templates and playbooks to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with business units to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
• Monitor contract performance and advise on potential disputes or breaches.
• Ensure all contracts comply with relevant South African laws and regulations.

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience specifically focused on commercial contracts .
• Deep understanding of contract drafting, negotiation strategies, and risk mitigation.
• Proficiency in utilizing legal tech platforms for contract management and remote collaboration.
• Excellent communication, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
