Legal Associate - Commercial Litigation

Our client is seeking a motivated and sharp Legal Associate to join their busy Commercial Litigation practice in Mossel Bay . This role offers an excellent opportunity for an emerging legal professional to gain extensive experience in dispute resolution, working on a variety of challenging cases. You will support senior attorneys in all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment through to trial and settlement.

• Assist in drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on various litigation issues.
• Organize and manage case files, evidence, and document productions.
• Support attorneys during depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel under supervision.

• Admitted attorney with 2-4 years of experience in commercial litigation .
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Familiarity with South African civil procedure rules.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
