Senior Contract Specialist

Our client is searching for an accomplished Senior Contract Specialist to join their fully remote legal team, serving operations across various regions including Nelspruit . This pivotal role will focus on the end-to-end management of complex commercial contracts, ensuring they align with business objectives and mitigate legal risks. You will be a key advisor to procurement, sales, and project management teams, providing expert guidance on contractual terms and obligations.

• Lead the negotiation, drafting, and finalization of complex commercial contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, and master service agreements.
• Provide expert advice on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure contracts meet objectives.
• Develop and implement best practices for contract management and lifecycle processes.
• Review vendor contracts and ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Manage contract repositories and ensure accurate record-keeping for all agreements.

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field; an LLB or relevant legal qualification is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years of dedicated experience in contract law and management.
• Proven expertise in negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
