Product Counsel; Consumer-Facing Tech

A leading global technology company is seeking an experienced Product Counsel to support a fast-paced, consumer-facing product team. This is an opportunity to serve as a trusted legal advisor, partnering closely with product and business stakeholders on new features, product launches, and complex legal and regulatory issues. The ideal candidate is a true product counseling generalist who can quickly identify legal issues across privacy, consumer protection, intellectual property, competition, regulatory matters, and litigation risk.

The focus is on providing strategic, practical legal advice that helps product teams innovate and move forward. Success in this role requires excellent legal judgment, comfort advising business stakeholders in real time, and the ability to evaluate multiple approaches, recommend risk mitigations, and confidently defend legal recommendations. The team values attorneys who can operate independently, learn quickly, and act as creative problem-solving partners to the business.

Prior experience with large technology platforms or marketplace products may be beneficial. This project starts around the first week of January,is estimated to be for 6 months with potential to extend,is fully remote,and requires 40 hours/week. The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $105and $109. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
