Associate Attorney - Medical Malpractice

Riley Bennett Egloff LLP is a top 25 Indianapolis-based law firm. We are seeking a highly-motivated associate attorney to join our Medical Malpractice team. Associate attorneys with 2 – 5 years of litigation experience are encouraged to apply for this opportunity to work with our sophisticated team to provide defenses on behalf of health care providers throughout the State. Well qualified candidates will have excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills.

Applicants with experience in defending medical malpractice claims are preferred.

• Defend providers in proceedings in front of the Indiana Department of Insurance, Federal and State Courts.
• Participate in all functions of litigation, including trial.
• Conduct medical record and document review.

• Admitted to practice and in good standing with the State of Indiana.
• 2-5 years of prior litigation experience.
• Knowledge and/or familiarity with the Medical Review Panel process.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with our team.
• Exemplary initiative and attention to detail.
