Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Legal Counsel with a focus on Commercial Transactions to join their legal team based in Benoni . • Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including joint ventures, acquisitions, and service agreements.
• Advise business teams on legal aspects of new product launches, market entry strategies, and commercial partnerships.
• Conduct legal due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to commercial activities.
• Manage and resolve legal issues arising from contractual relationships.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient deal closures.

• Admitted Attorney or Advocate with at least 6 years of relevant experience, particularly in corporate and commercial law.
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Solid understanding of M&A processes and corporate governance principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience working in-house or with a strong focus on transactional work is essential.
