Employment Lawyer

Employment Lawyer London Local Authority Locum Contract Hybrid Working Sellick Partnership are pleased to be recruiting for an Employment Lawyer to join a reputable London Council. The assignment will be for an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for an extension. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis and to attend tribunals when necessary. The successful Employment Lawyer will have extensive knowledge of employment law and experience working in a similar role so they can hit the ground running.

Role responsibilities:

Representing the Council before the Employment Tribunal Conducting advocacy Working closely with senior managers and stakeholders on a range of employment law disputes Providing employment law advice Handling a caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters The successful Employment Lawyer will benefit from:
Flexible working pattern Supportive team environment Competitive rate of pay This role would be suited to a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister, who is confident dealing with a contentious and non-contentious Employment caseload. The successful candidate may be required to attend Courts or Tribunals, so willingness to advocate is essential.
