- Advise on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-value commercial contracts and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with South African corporate laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage legal aspects of company secretarial duties, including board meetings and resolutions.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice to senior management and various business units.
- Oversee dispute resolution and manage relationships with external legal service providers.
- Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory affairs.
- Demonstrated experience in handling complex M&A transactions and corporate restructuring
