Litigation Partner - Hybrid Remote

We are a nationally recognized civil litigation and business services firm, founded more than 30 years ago, with 60 attorneys across 5 offices in New York. We represent insurers, businesses, school districts, municipalities, and public entities in state and federal courts throughout the state. Our practice spans commercial litigation, insurance defense and coverage, New York Labor Law, construction, toxic torts, and employment, which makes us one of the most comprehensive litigation platforms in New York.

We’re adding a commercial litigator with an established book to our Buffalo office: a partner who wants to grow their practice with the support of a full statewide platform.

• Competitive base salary: $175k to $250k Base + performance bonuses + origination bonuses

Work hybrid remote or on-site in Buffalo.

• Lead complex business and commercial disputes from inception through trial in state and federal courts
• Serve as relationship partner for existing clients and originate new business
• Direct case strategy, motion practice, depositions, and trial work
• Mentor associates and collaborate across practice groups to expand client relationships

• Minimum $250K in portable business
• New York Bar Admission
• First-chair business/commercial litigation experience
• Established client relationships that will follow you to the firm

• Contract and commercial disputes
• Business torts
• Partnership, shareholder, and closely held business disputes
• Restrictive covenant and non-compete litigation
• Creditor rights and collections litigation
• Construction and commercial real estate disputes
