• Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and develop compelling legal arguments.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Draft legal documents such as statements of claim, defenses, affidavits, and settlement agreements.
• Interview clients and witnesses to gather evidence and testimony.
• Negotiate settlements and advise clients on legal strategies and potential risks.
• Liaise effectively with opposing counsel, courts, and regulatory bodies.
• Stay abreast of changes in legislation and case law relevant to litigation practice.
• Mentor and guide junior legal staff as needed.

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience, with a significant focus on litigation.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex commercial litigation, civil litigation, or a specialized area of litigation.
• Proven experience in drafting and arguing motions, conducting discovery, and taking matters to trial.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities.
