Estate Planning Attorney

Our client is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Estate Planning Attorney to join their practice in Paarl. This hybrid role allows for a balance between in-office client interaction and remote work flexibility. You will guide individuals and families through the complexities of estate planning, developing tailored strategies to protect assets and ensure the smooth transfer of wealth according to their wishes.

• Advise clients on wills, trusts, estate planning strategies, and wealth transfer.
• Draft comprehensive wills, trust deeds, and powers of attorney.
• Assist with the administration of deceased estates, including probate and executor duties.
• Conduct research on relevant tax laws and estate planning regulations.
• Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their evolving needs are met.
• Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals to provide holistic advice.

• Admitted attorney with a strong understanding of wills, trusts, and estate administration.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in estate planning and administration.
• Excellent drafting skills for wills, trusts, and related documents.
• Knowledge of South African trust and estate law, and relevant tax implications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for clients navigating sensitive matters.
