Commercial Litigation Attorney

A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join its established nationwide ERISA litigation practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with a strong commercial litigation background to work on sophisticated federal court litigation, complex class actions, and high-stakes matters involving retirement and healthcare plans.

Prior ERISA or employee benefits experience is NOT required. The firm welcomes experienced commercial litigators interested in expanding their practice into this specialized area.

The position is based in Washington, D.C., with flexibility for remote work arrangements.

• Represent clients in complex federal court litigation, including class actions involving retirement and healthcare benefit plans.
• Handle litigation concerning the management and administration of employee benefit plans.
• Represent clients in investigations conducted by federal regulatory agencies.
• Conduct legal research, draft substantive motions and briefs, and contribute to litigation strategy.

• 2–7 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Experience handling complex litigation matters.
• ERISA or employee benefits experience is a plus, but not required.
• Base salary range: $245,000–$440,000
