Law & Motion Attorney (100% Remote – California)

One of my top California civil defense firms, backed by over 500 years of combined partner experience, is expanding its Law & Motion team! The firm handles complex, high-stakes litigation, has a strong trial presence, and offers exceptional attorney support. This is a fully remote opportunity where you’ll focus on what you do best —legal research and writing—without the day-to-day demands of court appearances or heavy client interaction

• $60/hour bonus for billable hours exceeding the monthly threshold

• High-impact Law & Motion work:
  Draft and argue dispositive motions, motions for summary judgment, and other complex litigation motions
• Meaningful courtroom exposure and opportunities to work closely with experienced trial attorneys
• 50+ dedicated support staff, allowing attorneys to focus on substantive legal work
• Less than 2% average carrier write-offs and deductions, reflecting strong billing practices

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 5+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a strong focus on law & motion work
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Experience drafting dispositive motions is highly preferred
