Part-Time Family Law/Criminal Law Associate (Remote except for Court Appearances) – Law Office of Cory Easton, P.C., Belleville, IL

Solo general practicioner seeks an Illinois-licensed attorney for a part-time associate position. Up to 25 hours per week. Salary: $50,000/year.

Remote work; firm meetings held by Zoom with no in-office requirement. Work 100% from home except for court apperances.

Weekly in-person court appearances in St. Clair County (20th Judicial Circuit) for docket calls and motion hearings.

In-person appearances in several other counties (Randolph, Clinton, Washington, Madison, Monroe, etc)

Prepare and answer discovery; draft pleadings and motions
Practice areas: dissolution of marriage, allocation of parental responsibilities, post-decree matters, traffic and criminal law.
No trial work required. Trial work available at additional compensation for interested candidates.

Licensed and in good standing in Illinois;
Traffic, Criminal Law and Family Law experience preferred.

Will train if neceesary. Attorneys with 0 years experience or 50 welcome to apply.

Reliable transportation to and from courthouses. Must have computer that meets specifications for Smokeball Practice Management Software. Paperless firm.

Must be comfort bale working with new technology.
