Supply Chain Planning Specialist Level 3 or Level 4

Location and Remote Work

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Specialist Level 3 or Level 4 to join our Launch and Exploration Division (LED) team in Gilbert, AZ or McClean, VA
. Full‑time remote work will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Planning support to the Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) Program.
  • Work with senior Supply Chain Planners to define, develop, and execute material procurement strategies based upon program‑defined requirements and schedules (i.e., analyze material and lead times, and identify critical path procurements).
  • Evaluate Supply Chain planning progress or issues utilizing metrics (e.g., on time to place, purchase requisition award status, supporting/non‑supporting purchases) and report performance to senior Supply Chain Planners and Supply Chain management staff.
  • Assess supply resources; aggregate and prioritize demand requirements; plan inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough‑cut capacity for all products.
  • Participate in make/buy process, long‑term capacity and resource planning; product phase‑in/phase‑out, manufacturing ramp‑up, end‑of‑life management and product‑line management.
  • Support evaluation of Bill‑of‑Materials (BOM) requirements to build required inventory levels.
Basic Qualifications (Level
3)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 5+ years minimum of related professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of related professional experience.
  • Previous Supply Chain experience in an aerospace and/or defense industry.
Basic Qualifications (Level
4)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 8+ years minimum of related professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of related professional experience.
  • Previous Supply Chain experience in an aerospace and/or defense industry.
Preferred Qualifications For Both Levels
  • Experience with Costpoint or similar Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred Northrop Grumman Supply Chain experience.
Salary Range

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 – $
Secondary Level Salary Range: $ – $

Benefits and Compensation

Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
