Summary

Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) position at Lodging Facility, Wright-Patt AFB. Responsible for data entry into paper and computer files, controlling receipt, follow-up actions, backorders, stock record changes, requisition files, and related supply records. Includes paid holidays, annual and sick leave accrual, optional participation in Group Health, Dental, and Life Insurance plans, Retirement, 401(k) and Flexible Benefits plans.

$16.50 to $20 per hour (NAF Pay Setting Rules Apply).

• Enter and maintain paper and computer files for receipt, follow‑up, backorders, stock record changes, requisition files, and supply records.
• Record or post information from requisitions, contracts, and shipping documents.
• Answer inquiries about requisition status using locally available information.
• Maintain files of description, reference groups, military standards, specifications, cataloging manuals, and other tools according to Federal supply group and numerical codes.
• Search for specific information required by technicians and other personnel.
• Recognize identification and supply catalog symbols of items of supply.
• Maintain inventory records of non-expendable property for the organization serviced.
• Inspect storage areas and recommend replenishment when quantity is low.
• Review requisitions and revise quantities ordered based on inventory.
• Recommend substitutions when items are not available.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Background investigation with favorable results.
• Shift work for evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

• Knowledge of inventory management system basics; computer systems and personal computer or terminal operation.
• Qualifying experience includes paid or volunteer work through National Service programs (Peace Corps, Ameri Corps, etc.).
• Background investigation at Tier 1 Level required.

Education substitution not allowed. Foreign education may be considered if deemed equivalent to U.S. education.

• Frequent lifting up to 40 pounds; continuous standing, walking, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending.
• Must meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements.
• U.S. Citizens and non‑U.S. nationals with ≥3 years residence in U.S. Territory before start of federal affiliation.
• Male applicants born after Dec 31, 1959 must register for Selective Service.
