• Review purchase requests and issue purchase orders in a timely manner without error
• Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliers
• Review quotes to ensure those are complete and align with Space
  
  X terms
• Resolve invoice issues and ensure that vendors are paid on time
• Expedite parts/services as necessary
• Act as customer service for Space
  
  X internal customers
• Support buyers in cost savings initiatives
• Lead miscellaneous procurement projects
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement process improvement initiatives in order to reduce order processing time and cost

• Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years of professional experience working in a supply chain, production, or engineering function in lieu of a degree

• Purchasing experience, specifically related to indirect buying
• Remarkable problem‑solving skills with a bias for speed
• Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
• Strong technical knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Ability to conduct all activities with the highest degree of integrity
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to respond quickly to a fast‑moving and ever‑changing environment
• Familiarity with data analysis tools including Microsoft SQL and PowerBI

• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• This position is based in Hawthorne, CA and requires being onsite – remote work not considered

Pay range:
Fulfillment Buyer/Level 1: $27.00/hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job‑related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package  may also be eligible for long‑term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long‑term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
