Regional Supply Controller EMEA – Distribution (Dutch & English speaker)

The Supply Chain Controller – Distribution EMEA reports directly to the Global Supply Chain Controller Distribution and oversees financial operations within the Supply Chain Execution and Distribution Centers in the EU and AP region. The role collaborates closely with senior managers to establish and achieve financial goals, enhance reporting accuracy, and drive organizational performance.

• Financial Performance & Profitability:
  Own and analyse Contribution Margin performance for supply chain activities, delivering insights and improvement actions; translate regional supply chain (non)-financial KPI’s into financial outcomes for supply and project performance; convert the regional cost of organization analysis into actions together with the business leaders; analyse deviations between actuals and pre-calculated cost on total cost of equipment and define actions for optimisation.
• Planning, Forecasting & Reporting:
  Prepare and present regional reporting cycles, actuals, FY forecast and annual budget; analyse the total cost of equipment for the regional projects in respect of timing and cost versus budget; act as finance lead for Regional Supply Reviews flows for EMEA and APAC for VI both Distribution, other Domains in VI and TAL; report the set KPI’s and charging of cost for the Supply Chain in EMEA and APAC for VI that utilise this supply chain network;
  
  manage working capital on a regional level, concentrating on inventory levels, provisions, phasing and optimisation.
• Risk, Opportunity & Compliance:
  Drive risk and opportunity management for the regional supply chain activities in the domain; monitor the J‑SOX compliance and report‑out to the global supply chain controller.
• Strategic Supply Initiatives, programmes and way of working:
  Support strategic programmes for supply chain improvements; share input to the global supply chain controller regarding way of working and improvement areas to optimise end‑to‑end; prepare regional business cases for investments and long‑term leases in the supply activities.
• Business Finance Improvements:
  Ensure timely completion of agreed goals defined at the CFO level; contribute to improved enabling functions (e.g., ERP, trade tariffs, balance sheet control); identify and drive automation and standardisation opportunities in reporting and forecasting; identify opportunities for improvement of in‑supply chain flows for both Distribution and other domains that use the supply chain network of Vanderlande Industries.

  Actively participate in the Supply Finance team for Distribution; collaborate with project controllers regarding supply activities in financial performance, compliance and improvement areas; collaborate with supply chain controllers for other domains and TAL to drive a unified way of working in process, tools and systems; partner with senior managers to support decision making and continuous improvements in regional supply activities.

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years experience in Controlling, FP&A, Supply Chain Finance or B2B project company.
• Experience in working with an international leadership team.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, procurement and working capital management.
• Experience with S&OP processes and the financial role within supply planning cycles.
• Proven experience with J‑SOX or similar internal control/compliance frameworks.
• Experience with standard costing, CAPEX and IFRS/US GAAP.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior business stakeholders.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is a must.

• Competitive salary range of €4,936 to €6,699 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance); potential to grow outside this scale through performance.
