The Supply Chain Coordinator role is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience, build your skills, and learn from experienced professionals through dedicated mentorship and real‑world exposure in supply chain management.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Manager and play an active part in coordinating logistics and supply chain operations across our manufacturing facilities in Concord and Peterborough. You’ll gain valuable insight into how a global organization operates while contributing to meaningful projects from day one.
Key Responsibilities- Support day‑to‑day supply chain operations, with a focus on data accuracy, reporting, and inventory tracking.
- Monitor inventory levels across internal and external sites and flag potential risks or discrepancies on report or shipment documents and data for parts moving from Siemens Peterborough plant to Siemens Concord plant.
- Coordinate with Order Management (OM) team for Sales order update for direct shipment.
- Identify unique parts within a retired Bill of Materials (BOM) for Obsolete disposal.
- Storage location setup for coming transfer accessories.
- Work closely with logistic engineers and Source Team Lead.
- Support with ad hoc projects assigned by the SCM lead or manager.
- Work on additional tasks as assigned.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge through coursework or internships in areas such as data analysis, inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is considered an asset.
- Basic understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Salary:
Hourly rate commensurate with experience, ranging between $25 CAD and $30 CAD.
