Mission  The art of negotiation and procurement: you’ve got this! We’re looking for a bold thinker like you to join our procurement team  part of our core team, you’ll be responsible for identifying strategic suppliers and managing relationships, ensuring the quality and continuity of our supply chain. This role will allow you to help shape Soucy’s future by leading innovative initiatives and playing a crucial role in our company’s growth and success.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Secure the best prices and purchasing terms based on requirements, taking total acquisition costs into account
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and maintain strong business relationships
Support CAPEX and maintenance projects with their RFPs and analyses
Analyze past consumption and anticipate needs for supplies, packaging, and stationery
Propose improvements in collaboration with fellow buyers
Maintain purchasing-related databases (prices, items, suppliers)
Process internal requisitions and purchase requests
Contribute to supplier evaluations
Maintain purchasing procedures and work instructions
Ensure the continuous improvement of non-inventory purchasing tools and processes

Profile  With the following skills and qualities, you’ll thrive in this role:
Training in administration or procurement is a plus
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or service industry
Ability to multitask and adapt to different tasks
Strong understanding of the supplier negotiation process
Decision-making skills
Attention to detail and a structured approach
Strong ability to manage priorities and handle stress
Bilingualism (French and English)
