Our client operates a large international R&D and manufacturing site in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, where multidisciplinary teams develop, produce, and distribute innovative diagnostic solutions worldwide. The Procurement department plays a key role in ensuring the efficient sourcing of goods and services, managing supplier relationships, driving process improvements, and supporting internal stakeholders across the organization.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and has initial experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain. They are comfortable working in an international environment, possess strong German and English communication skills, and have hands‑on SAP experience. With a proactive and analytical mindset, they contribute to supplier management, process optimization, and operational procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a Procurement Specialist with a focus on indirect materials.
- Support and ensure the planning and execution of operational procurement processes.
- Evaluate, select, and manage external suppliers and service providers.
- Support local, regional, and global tenders and procurement projects.
- Assist with supplier contract negotiations, contract administration and monitoring, and contract termination processes.
- Support internal, external, and supplier audits.
- Advise and support business functions regarding procurement activities, supplier portfolio management, and compliance topics.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of procurement processes and support operational purchasing activities through guidelines and tools.
- Assess and implement improvement ideas related to suppliers, products, and processes.
- Create reports and dashboards to effectively monitor and steer procurement activities.
- Coordinate vehicle fleet management in collaboration with leasing providers.

The perfect candidate brings :- Completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Ideally 1–2 years of project experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or Digital Transformation environments.
- Demonstrated experience in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand complex topics and act with a business-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility, creativity, and the ability to operate successfully in a dynamic market environment.
- Self‑driven team player with strong initiative, resilience, and assertiveness.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of B2B interfaces and internet-based procurement tools is an advantage.
- Very good German and English language skills (minimum C1 level), both written and spoken.
- Strong IT affinity and practical SAP experience.
