Hybrid - based roleThis role is ideally onsite, however 1 day home office can be considered. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.
What you will do:- Contribute directly to the reliability of life‑saving medicine manufacturing by ensuring smooth execution of the Material Requirements Plan (MRP).
- Partner closely with internal site stakeholders and Supply Chain Teams in Visp to keep local business operations running optimally.
- Track and monitor raw material supplier performance, delivering actionable feedback to Strategic Buyers and Category Managers.
- Lead and resolve critical Level 2 vendor escalations including delivery delays, pricing discrepancies, and shipping issues.
- Maintain and optimize procurement master data within SAP to guarantee dependable MRP calculations and automated PO creation.
- Manage standard procurement operations including Vendor Returns (RMAs), cost recovery, and resolving Accounts Payable invoice discrepancies.
- Support strategic initiatives by assisting with low‑value contract negotiations and participating in competitive bidding (RFx) activities.
- Proven operational buying or procurement experience, ideally within a fast‑paced raw materials environment.
- Strong practical expertise utilizing SAP or a comparable ERP system for daily supply chain management.
- Demonstrated capability in managing vendor relationships, running open order reviews, and driving supplier improvement plans.
- Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen, with a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
- Professional fluency in both English and German is mandatory to collaborate effectively across local and global networks.
- Availability for an ideally 100% on‑site contract, however 1 day home office may be considered. Based in Visp, running until December 2026 - with an ideal start in July or August.
