Student Internship in Supply Chain Operations

Job Summary

Internship – Customer Logistics in a pharma company based in Kaiseraugst (close to Basel). 12 months (minimum 9 months, ideally starting October
2026), 32hours per week or full‑time with up to 50% Home Office.

• Support order fulfillment operations: tracking and optimizing shipments from entry to final delivery.
• Maintain SAP/ERP systems, including order entry, delivery creation and invoicing (OMP).
• Manage the internship cycle: hiring, onboarding, training and handing over tasks to new interns.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement projects and initiatives within the organization.
• Develop a deep understanding of supply‑chain operations with direct market customers.
• Prepare analysis, presentations and process‑flow documents using Google tools, Excel, PowerPoint, Lucidchart and Smartsheet.
• Participate in student networking events (online/offline) and produce related materials.

• Currently enrolled in university or completed studies within the last 12 months; focus in supply‑chain management, business administration, life sciences, IT/computer science, or a related field.
• Interest and enthusiasm for SAP/ERP and supply‑chain systems, especially OMP.
• Experience with analysis, presentation, and process‑flow tools (Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Lucidchart, Smartsheet).
• Strong self‑management, open‑mindedness, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent English language skills;
  German is a plus.
• Capacity to build and maintain an international network of relationships.
• Non‑Swiss/EU/EFTA citizens must attach confirmation that a compulsory internship is part of their university studies.

The internship can be part‑time (at least 32hours per week). Final thesis preparation during the internship may be supported. Up to 50% of the work period can be performed as Home Office.
