Buyer at Gold Fields

Join Gold Fields as a Buyer focusing on procurement for the Windfall Project in northern Québec. This role combines remote work flexibility with essential supplier negotiations and purchasing responsibilities.

As a Buyer, you will report to the Purchasing and Warehouse Superintendent and oversee procurement activities critical to the success of site operations. Your expertise will support a fully operational mining project while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and optimizing costs. You will engage with suppliers in both French and English while fostering relationships to enhance value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with procurement policies and procedures

• Purchase goods, equipment, and services

• Negotiate effectively with suppliers

• Conduct total cost of ownership analyses

• Develop business case scenarios with departments

Requirements:

• DEC in administration or equivalent experience

• 5+ years in a similar role

• Knowledge of Incoterms and mining industry

• Bilingual in French and English

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
