About the role

The Logistics Operations Analyst (LOA) is a key member of the European Inventory and Operations Excellence team, with primary responsibility on logistics operations and inventory performance in Northern Europe.

This role reports to the Associate Manager for Inventory and Operations Excellence and is part of a regional European team identifying operational gaps, executing continuous improvement initiatives, and driving compliance across the logistics network. The role is expected to connect local operational needs with regional priorities, while contributing to consistent, scalable and efficient European ways of working.

The role has a dual scope combining strong local market engagement with participation in a centralized European Logistics Operations structure:

  • Local market responsibility: ensuring strong operational support, visibility and continuous improvement for the UK & Scandinavia logistics organization. The Logistics Operations Analyst works in close partnership with the Northern Europe Logistics Manager, Business Integration Manager and local teams to address market priorities, operational risks and business requirements.
  • Regional responsibility: contributing to European processes, tools, reporting and improvement initiatives across multiple EU markets.

This role exists to enhance visibility and control over regional logistics performance, with a strong emphasis on data‑driven insights, cost efficiency, and service excellence. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders and 3PL providers to ensure alignment with service targets and budget expectations.

This role is eligible for remote working 1 day per week

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain supply chain and logistics reports and dashboards, optimizing through tools like Power Query, PowerBI, Power Automate.
  • Ensure end‑to‑end inventory accuracy and integrity, including quality control, compliance (e.g. dangerous goods), product expiration, obsolescence, returns, and seasonal stock.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for logistics and quality‑related operational issues internally.
  • Lead advanced data analysis to support logistics KPIs, performance metrics, and budget adherence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing cost‑effective logistics solutions.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Supply Planning, Customer Fulfillment, Customer Supply Chain and Sales to troubleshoot and optimize logistics processes.
  • Manage and monitor third‑party logistics (3PL) partnerships; alignment on service levels, cost targets, and compliance.
  • Lead regular performance reviews with transport vendors to measure service providers; identifying and driving action plans for improvement.
  • Oversee capacity planning and risk mitigation for warehousing in coordination with demand & supply planning teams.
  • Support strategic supply chain initiatives including regional network optimisation and digital transformation projects.
Experience you’ll bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain operations, inventory management, warehousing, transportation or a related field is an advantage
  • Fluency English is required;
