As our new Senior Logistics Specialist
, you will be driving end-to-end logistics operations from location in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ensuring efficient movement of products from warehouses to customers while continuously improving processes and service levels. As a key part of the Supply Chain & Logistics team, you'll create impact by Optimizing logistics performance and delivery excellence to support Grundfos's growth strategy across the Middle East region.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations including shipping, warehousing, and distribution across the Middle East and Egypt
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
- Monitor and optimize logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight costs, and inventory accuracy
- Ensure compliance with Saudi customs regulations, import/export requirements, and Grundfos quality standards
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and planning teams to align logistics activities with demand forecasts
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably within the Middle East and Egypt
- Strong knowledge of Saudi customs procedures, import/export regulations, and local trade compliance
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and logistics management tools
It is a plus if you also have:
- Experience working in a multinational manufacturing or industrial company
- APICS, CILT, or similar supply chain certification
Fluency in both Arabic and English
