Process Expert (Warehouse - Inbound Logistics)

Your Daily Action

At Action, we're more than a company-we're a movement. With over 3,400 stores and an ever-expanding supply chain, our SC Support & Process department is key to our success. As a Process Expert (Warehouse
- Inound Logistics), you'll play a critical role in enhancing our operations, solving bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions.

Process Management:

  • Be the go-to expert for Warehouse
    - Inbound Logistics processes.
  • Resolve issues in distribution centres, HUBS and Cross dock centres swiftly.
  • Communicate updates and improvements proactively.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement enhancements.
  • Translate business and IT requirements into actionable designs.
  • Lead communication and training for process and IT updates.
  • Provide on-site support during system releases and new DC openings.

Knowledge Transfer:

  • Share and document vital process knowledge.
  • Create clear process documentation and training materials.
  • Engage regularly with warehouse departments and visit DCs for support.
  • Collaborate with IT to implement improvement proposals.

Administration:

  • Register and evaluate problems and improvement proposals.
  • Develop and assess feasibility of new ideas.
  • Manage and automate test scripts and execute tests for new processes.
  • Maintain and update training materials.
  • Set correct authorization profiles within the Supply Chain.
Meet Your Team

Our Supply Chain Support & Process department is part of the Process Development and Support division. The team consists of Process Managers and Process Experts specializing in various areas such as Commerce, Data management, Supply Chain and Commercial Planning, Inbound and Outbound logistics, Transport and Facility. Together, we ensure the seamless operation of Action’s supply chain, delivering products to over 3,400 stores daily.

This is You

You excel in dynamic environments, possess a keen interest in systems, and have a knack for process improvements. Your structured approach and strong analytical skills set you apart.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, etc.).
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience in Warehousing - Inbound Logistics is a plus.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Excellent collaboration and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English;
    Dutch and additional languages are a plus.
