What

We’re Looking For

Zebra Technologies is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner in our Bourne End, UK office. You will be joining a dynamic, 7‑person team spread across the UK, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. Together, this collaborative group is responsible for driving logistics and supply chain management excellence across our regional operations. As Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will orchestrate end‑to‑end inbound planning and logistics from our global suppliers.

In this pivotal role, you will proactively optimise inventory levels to meet customer demand while driving continuous improvement across our planning systems. This is a hybrid role designed to offer both collaboration and flexibility. You will spend 3 days per week working alongside your colleagues in our Bourne End office, and enjoy the flexibility of working from home for the remaining 2 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming supply by tracking, prioritising, and expediting shipments, and negotiating delivery schedules to align with operational efficiency and customer demand.
  • Proactively manage inventory health by leading regular reviews of slow-moving and non-moving stock, optimising safety stock levels, and developing strategies to minimise excess and obsolescence risks.
  • Act as the central owner and subject matter expert for a defined product portfolio.
  • Develop and execute the end‑to‑end supply strategy, ensuring its alignment with business goals and the entire product lifecycle, from introduction to end‑of‑life.
  • Take full ownership of your product portfolio's performance.
  • You will be empowered to make decisions that directly impact key business metrics, from improving on‑time shipment to optimising inventory and enhancing forecast accuracy.
  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and other global planning teams to mitigate constraints, resolve discrepancies, support new product introductions, and ensure seamless execution of the supply plan.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree:
    Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in demand planning or supply planning, ideally within a multinational corporation.
  • A high degree of ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience managing external suppliers and/or logistics providers.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong ability to identify potential issues, take initiative, and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a passion for data.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is essential, and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and modern planning software (e.g., Oracle Fusion DM Cloud) is highly desirable.
  • Advanced verbal and written English communication skills.
