Your Role
You will ensure the optimal procurement of materials and equipment to effectively support project execution while respecting budgets, schedules, and the company’s quality standards.
Profile sought   Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Buyer in the plumbing or process mechanical systems field;
College diploma (DEC) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in Supply Chain Management or a related field (an asset);
Strong negotiation skills, excellent planning abilities, and a customer service-oriented mindset;
Team player with excellent stress management skills and the ability to respond effectively in urgent situations.
Roles and responsabilities   Coordinate procurement requirements by ensuring a clear understanding and effective prioritization of internal requests;
Plan and carry out purchasing activities while monitoring orders and ensuring delivery deadlines are met;
Coordinate logistics activities related to the preparation, shipment, and return of materials;
Manage supplier relationships to optimize performance and purchasing terms;
Maintain rigorous inventory management by optimizing stock levels and resource utilization;
Act as the main point of contact between internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth operations;
Ensure the compliance and quality of materials while contributing to the continuous improvement of procurement practices
