Remote Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Remote Industrial Engineer with a specialization in supply chain optimization to join their expanding global team. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to enhancing our client's logistical networks and operational efficiencies from anywhere. You will be responsible for analyzing and improving the flow of goods, information, and resources across our client's entire supply chain, from procurement to final delivery.

• Analyze end-to-end supply chain operations to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, logistics, and warehousing.
• Utilize data analytics and modeling techniques to forecast demand and manage supply chain risks.
• Design and implement network optimization models for transportation and distribution.
• Collaborate remotely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless supply chain performance.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain effectiveness and efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain analysis and optimization, preferably in a remote or distributed team environment.
• Strong proficiency in supply chain modeling software , ERP systems, and advanced Excel functions.
• Proven experience with data analysis, forecasting techniques, and process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a virtual team.
• Understanding of global logistics and international trade regulations.
