About the Role Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Procurement Officer to join their purchasing team in Kimberley . This hybrid position offers a dynamic work environment, combining office-based collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. You will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management, ensuring the acquisition of goods and services aligns with company objectives and budget constraints.
This role is crucial for maintaining supply chain efficiency and driving cost savings for our client's operations in the Northern Cape.
Key Responsibilities Manage the sourcing and procurement of various goods and services for the organization.
Develop and maintain relationships with a diverse supplier base, negotiating favorable terms and pricing.
Process purchase requisitions and orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual agreements.
Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential new suppliers.
Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing.
Proven track record in negotiation and supplier relationship management.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in both office and remote settings.
