About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Specialist to join their team remotely. This role is vital for optimizing the day-to-day execution of logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. You will analyze operational data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve workflow and service levels. The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes.

This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to critical logistics functions from anywhere, working collaboratively with a distributed team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage daily logistics operations, ensuring adherence to established procedures and timelines.
  • Analyze operational performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve shipping and delivery issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist in the planning and execution of logistics projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide support and guidance to logistics team members as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics operations or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Experience with logistics management systems (LMS) or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
