Logistics Coordinator - International Trade

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive Logistics Coordinator with a specialization in International Trade to support their operations, primarily remotely, with occasional needs in East London. This role focuses on managing the complexities of cross-border shipments, including documentation, customs compliance, and coordination with international carriers. You will play a key part in ensuring the seamless import and export of goods, optimizing transit times, and controlling costs.

Your expertise will be vital in facilitating our client's global trade activities and maintaining efficient supply chain operations from the Eastern Cape.

• Coordinate international shipments, including import and export processes.
• Prepare and manage all necessary international trade documentation accurately.
• Liaise with customs brokers, carriers, and overseas partners to ensure smooth transit.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and customs laws.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs in international logistics.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, with a focus on international trade.
