About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Parts Specialist to join their online distribution hub supporting the Richards Bay region. This role focuses on managing and fulfilling online orders for automotive parts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. You will be responsible for inventory management, order processing, and providing exceptional customer support via digital channels. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of automotive parts, exceptional organizational skills, and is comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote setting.
This position is vital for maintaining efficient supply chain operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable parts availability and support, leveraging technology to streamline the entire process.
- Process and manage online orders for automotive parts efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using specialized parts management software.
- Source parts from various suppliers, negotiating pricing and ensuring quality.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding parts availability, compatibility, and order status via email and chat.
- Coordinate with logistics partners for timely and cost-effective shipping of parts.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve inventory management and order fulfillment processes in a remote context.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Parts Specialist or in a similar role, preferably with online sales/distribution.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive parts, vehicle makes, and models.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote customer interaction.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage workload in a fully remote setup, based remotely from Richards Bay.
