Procurement Lead

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Procurement Lead to spearhead their purchasing efforts in a fully remote capacity. This role offers a unique opportunity to establish and refine procurement processes and strategies from the ground up, managing all aspects of sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management. You will play a key role in driving cost savings and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services critical to the company's growth.

• Develop and implement a robust procurement strategy, including policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead sourcing initiatives for key categories, focusing on cost reduction, quality, and supplier reliability.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure optimal terms and conditions.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key vendors and strategic partners.
• Oversee the entire procure-to-pay process, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Analyze market intelligence to identify opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in procurement , with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Proven success in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data for decision-making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in advanced procurement software and digital tools for remote collaboration.
