We're looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to join our Procurement team and play a key role in delivering strategic procurement activity across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, leading complex procurement initiatives, and delivering commercial value through effective supplier and contract management. You'll be responsible for managing procurement activity from sourcing and tendering through to contract negotiation, while supporting the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives. What you'll be doing

As a Senior Buyer, you'll:

• Lead end-to-end procurement activity including sourcing, tender management, supplier evaluation and contract negotiations.
• Develop category strategies that maximise value, minimise risk and support business objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to understand requirements and deliver customer-focused procurement solutions.
• Support Supplier Performance Managers in managing key third-party relationships effectively.
• Drive commercial outcomes through cost management, supplier rationalisation and risk mitigation.
• Provide expert procurement advice, coaching and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Support procurement governance, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to strategic programmes and projects, leading procurement work streams that deliver meaningful business change.
