Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain Focus

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Industrial Engineer with a specialization in supply chain and logistics to join their team in East London . This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a blend of remote work and on-site collaboration. You will be instrumental in analyzing, designing, and improving supply chain operations, from inventory management to distribution networks, aiming to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics and optimization techniques.

• Analyze and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, including inventory, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve forecast accuracy, reduce lead times, and minimize logistics costs.
• Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts and material flow processes.
• Utilize data analysis and simulation tools to model supply chain scenarios and identify optimal solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, production, sales) and external partners to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on supply chain and logistics optimization.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management techniques, and logistics operations.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including ERP systems, WMS, TMS, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Experience with simulation software for supply chain modeling is a plus.
