About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and strategic Senior Logistics Manager to lead their global logistics operations. This fully remote role is critical for optimizing the end-to-end supply chain, driving efficiency, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of goods across international borders. You will be responsible for developing and executing advanced logistics strategies, managing key supplier relationships, and leading a dispersed team of logistics professionals.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in international logistics, freight management, and a strong understanding of global trade compliance, all within a remote-first operational framework.
- Develop and implement comprehensive global logistics and supply chain strategies.
- Manage international freight forwarding, customs compliance, and import/export operations.
- Optimize transportation networks and negotiate favorable contracts with carriers and vendors.
- Lead and mentor a remote team of logistics specialists, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
- Implement and oversee logistics technology solutions to enhance visibility and efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in global logistics and supply chain management.
- Extensive experience with international shipping, customs regulations, and freight management.
- Proven track record of managing and leading remote teams effectively.
- Expertise in using various logistics management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent strategic planning, negotiation, and analytical skills.
