About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join their procurement team, working remotely with responsibilities supporting operations in Kimberley . This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about supply chain and purchasing. You will assist senior buyers in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing a range of goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, possesses strong organizational skills, and can thrive in a virtual team setting, contributing to the overall efficiency of the procurement process.

• Assist in sourcing new suppliers and obtaining quotes for goods and services.
• Process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
• Support senior buyers in negotiations and contract administration.
• Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to resolve order-related issues.
• Conduct basic market research to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Previous internship or 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or a related administrative role is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
