Senior Project Manager - Supply Chain

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within their Supply Chain operations in East London . This hybrid role will involve managing complex projects focused on optimizing logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships, balancing remote work with essential on-site presence. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing the overall performance of the supply chain network.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in supply chain management and project execution, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver tangible improvements.

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for supply chain optimization initiatives, including scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Manage end-to-end project life cycles, from initial assessment and planning through to implementation and post-project review.
• Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, logistics, warehousing) and external partners to ensure project goals are met.
• Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, developing contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of supply chain projects.
• Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management , with a significant focus on supply chain or logistics.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field;
  Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chain projects and driving operational improvements.
• Strong understanding of logistics management , inventory control, procurement processes, and warehousing operations.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment , effectively managing projects both remotely and on-site in East London .
