About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist to join their procurement team in a fully remote capacity. This role is instrumental in developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies for key categories of spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and managing supplier relationships to ensure optimal value and quality. You will leverage your expertise in market analysis and negotiation to drive competitive advantage for the company.

This position requires a proactive, analytical, and self-directed professional who can operate effectively without direct supervision, contributing to the company's strategic goals from anywhere, while still being connected to the needs of operations based in or serving Klerksdorp .

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for designated spend categories, including market analysis, supplier identification, and RFx process management.
• Develop and implement category strategies that align with business objectives and drive significant cost reductions.
• Conduct thorough supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management to secure optimal terms and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.

• Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and risk assessment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and financial information.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, suitable for a remote environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
