Our client is looking for a highly analytical and strategic Remote Strategic Sourcing Specialist to drive significant cost savings and improve supply chain resilience from a distance. In this critical, fully remote position, you will analyze spending patterns, identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and optimization, and lead complex sourcing initiatives. Your expertise in market analysis and category management will be essential to developing long-term sourcing strategies that support our business objectives.

- Conduct in-depth market research and category analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and risks.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for key spend categories, focusing on total cost of ownership.
- Lead cross-functional teams in sourcing projects, including RFI/RFP development and supplier selection.
- Negotiate complex contracts and master service agreements with key suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between sourcing strategies and business needs.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing complex sourcing strategies that yield significant cost savings.
- Expertise in market analysis , supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in sourcing software and analytics tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
