About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead their global procurement initiatives from a fully remote capacity. This role is critical in identifying and developing sourcing strategies that align with business objectives, drive cost savings, and enhance supplier performance. You will be responsible for conducting market analysis, leading complex negotiations, and building strong relationships with key suppliers worldwide.

- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sourcing plans for key spend categories.
- Lead cross-functional teams in sourcing projects, including RFx development and supplier selection.
- Conduct in-depth market research and supplier analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and establish long-term, mutually beneficial supplier partnerships.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sourcing function to achieve cost savings and enhance value.
- Manage supplier performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations and service level agreements.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, with a strong emphasis on category management.
- Proven experience in leading complex, global sourcing projects and negotiations.
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing methodologies, risk management, and contract law.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven success in a remote work environment, demonstrating initiative and autonomy.
