About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Project Manager to optimize and lead key initiatives within their logistics and distribution network based in Mossel Bay. You will be responsible for managing projects that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall performance of the supply chain. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain operations, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
You will drive strategic projects, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of new processes and technologies that strengthen our client's supply chain capabilities.
- Manage the full lifecycle of supply chain projects, from initiation to closure.
- Develop project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues impacting supply chain operations and project success.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and distribution teams to implement improvements.
- Track project progress, analyze performance metrics, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain management or project management within logistics.
- Proven track record of successfully managing supply chain optimization projects.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and distribution processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in relevant supply chain software and project management tools.
