About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Retail Inventory Analyst to join their dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels across various retail channels from a remote location. Your insights will directly impact stock availability, reduce carrying costs, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency with inventory management software, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a virtual setting to support the company's strategic inventory planning.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and optimize stock levels across different locations and online platforms.
- Monitor inventory turnover, identify slow-moving or obsolete stock, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to ensure timely replenishment and avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
- Develop and maintain reports on inventory performance, accuracy, and key metrics.
- Implement and manage inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management and supply chain operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in inventory management or analysis, preferably within the retail sector.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective remote collaboration with cross-functional teams.
