About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Remote Sourcing Manager to lead global sourcing initiatives. This fully remote position requires an expert in identifying, developing, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the procurement of high-quality goods and services at optimal costs. You will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, conducting complex negotiations, and managing supplier performance across various regions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of global supply chains and a proven ability to drive significant cost savings and value creation from a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for key commodities and services, aligning with business objectives.
- Lead complex negotiations with global suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and ensure supply continuity.
- Manage and optimize supplier relationships, including performance management, risk mitigation, and collaborative improvement initiatives.
- Conduct thorough market intelligence and spend analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements, support product development, and ensure supply chain alignment.
- Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing practices, company policies, and all relevant international regulations.
- Master's degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, global procurement, or category management.
- Proven success in leading complex international sourcing projects and achieving substantial cost savings.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics , trade regulations, and risk management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills .
- Proficiency in procurement software and advanced analytical tools.
