Logistics Coordinator – Drive Efficiency in Dynamic Logistics Operations

Step into a pivotal role as our Logistics Coordinator based in either Aberdeen or Reading, where you will become the essential logistics nexus for our business line's transportation activities. This hybrid position, blending 2-3 days in the office with flexible remote work, offers a competitive salary , commensurate with experience. You will orchestrate transport requests, craft optimal load plans, and optimize shipment routes to ensure smooth, timely deliveries while maximizing cost efficiency.

Your expertise will keep logistics movements compliant with international regulations and internal standards, safeguarding the quality and reliability of our supply chain.

• Proven ability to coordinate and validate transport requests to meet delivery deadlines
• Expertise in load planning and cargo optimization to maximize equipment utilization
• Strong skills in shipment routing, consolidation, and backload opportunities for cost savings
• Experience monitoring shipment execution and managing logistics deviations proactively
• Familiarity with international transport compliance and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in using logistics planning tools and business systems to track and report shipment status
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers

• Experience managing fixed schedules and regional milk runs
• Knowledge of performance analysis methods in logistics operations
• Understanding of logistics network improvement initiatives
• Ability to interface seamlessly with Import/Export teams

• Relevant educational background in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields
• Solid experience in logistics coordination, preferably with exposure to international freight movements

• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with office presence 2-3 days per week
• Commitment to maintaining thorough documentation and adherence to company policies and local regulations
