About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Freight Forwarder Specialist to join their international logistics team. This fully remote position is responsible for managing the end-to‑end process of shipping goods internationally, including coordinating with carriers, handling documentation, and ensuring smooth customs clearance. You will play a vital role in optimizing global supply chains, working independently to provide efficient and cost-effective freight forwarding solutions.

• Coordinate and manage international shipments via air, sea, and land transport.
• Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and certificates of origin.
• Liaise with clients, carriers, customs brokers, and other partners to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients on status and potential issues.
• Resolve any customs-related issues or challenges to ensure smooth clearance.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to optimize costs while maintaining service quality.

• Proven experience as a Freight Forwarder or in a similar international logistics role.
• In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
• Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and global trade management systems .
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, essential for managing complex international shipments.
