About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Strategic Sourcing Specialist to drive significant improvements in their procurement functions, operating entirely remotely. This role requires a deep understanding of market analysis, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation to identify and secure cost-effective solutions. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with the company's long-term goals, focusing on value creation and risk mitigation.

• Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and trends.
• Develop and implement category management and strategic sourcing plans.
• Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal terms, pricing, and service levels.
• Manage and nurture strategic supplier relationships to ensure performance and innovation.
• Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain and supplier base.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or a related procurement role.
• Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation and supplier performance management.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and market intelligence tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively manage projects in a remote setting.
