Logistics Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to join their team, supporting operations primarily from Centurion , with the flexibility of remote work. You will be responsible for the entire supply chain process, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role requires strong analytical skills to optimize logistics networks and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

You will play a key part in managing supplier relationships and negotiating favorable terms.

• Plan, manage, and coordinate the entire logistics and supply chain operations.
• Optimize transportation routes and modes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, storage, and order fulfillment.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain performance and reduce lead times.
• Negotiate with carriers, suppliers, and service providers to secure competitive rates and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.

• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar supply chain role.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
• Experience with logistics software and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
